Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Delhi-Chandigarh

Arrive Delhi by morning flight and straight drive to Chandigarh, check-into your hotel. Visit Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake and drive past of impressive Govt. Buildings of this most well planned city of India.

Day 2 Chandigarh-Shimla

Drive to Shimla, via stopping at well laid-out Pinjore Gardens near Kalka, Continue to Shimla, 6900 feet, spread 7 miles along the ridge, it presents substantial evidence of an attempt of the ‘sahibs’ to build an English town in India. Relics of styles long forgotten in England are still evident here. It is a charming town with an almost palpable British presence manifest in buildings like Christ Church, the neo-Tudor Library Building, the famous Scandal Point & many cottages. St. Michael’s Cathedral located just off the Mall is cruciform in design and had fine stained glass. Visit “The Mall”, take the lift at Own costs to get to Mall road, the nerve Centre of Shimla, take a stroll, the shops along and around are worth exploring. Open Spaces & plenty of enchanting walks present excellent views of mountain ranges.

Day 3 Shimla-Chandigarh

AM check-out & proceed to Kufri- 16 Kms away from Shimla, which during Winters (Usually from End Dec to Feb-March Months) provide ski slopes & is centre of Winter Sports. Optional you may enjoy a pony ride to go around the hills to enjoy some excellent View of the Himalayas. Afternoon drive back to Chandigarh & explore the famous Sector 17 market for some good shopping.

Day 4 Chandigarh-Delhi-Dep

Morning leave in time for Delhi Airport to connect your onward Int’l flight.
