Gillman Barracks is a contemporary arts cluster in Singapore that is home to international art galleries, restaurants and the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore, which are all housed in conserved colonial barracks among greenery and jungle. You can simply get into the galleries that you like or go on a guided history and art tour of the area which are offered by Friends of the Museum in cooperation with the Economic Development Board. Even if you are not so much into art, Gillman Barracks is a good place to unwind, enjoy a lunch or a drink and carry on with your eyesighting of Singapore. Each gallery has its own opening hours.
