The Borobudur Temple is stunning in both photos and in person. The temple’s vastness and beautiful architecture reminds one of the equally stunning Angkor Wat in Cambodia. The temple is open to the public from 6am – 5pm daily, but if you are into photography, book a sunrise tour with an authorized tour company, or stay at the Manohara Resort (they are the only hotel that’s allowed to sell early entrance tickets) for early entrance.
